These hairpins are my tribute to the the highly esteemed Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage crafts of “Chan Hua” ļ¼ē¼ č±ļ¼and “Tian Tsui”ļ¼ē¹ēæ ļ¼. They are crafted by hand using thread and card paper, providing substitute materials for these traditional prohibited crafts. Every hairpin symbolizes a distinct season.
