SPLC collaboration: This illustration was created to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Month. By depicting individuals ascending toward the sky from historical images, I aimed to honour the contributions of past generations to Asian American and Pacific heritage, express joy for current achievements, and convey hopeful aspirations for future rights and equality. Ultimately, this piece emphasizes the interconnectedness of all humanity in the universe.
